Description: Basal conglomerate. Pink, brown and buff, fine- to medium-grained, moderately sorted quartzarenite; minor recessive very fine-grained sandstone and siltstone units; distinctly ferruginous mottled sandstone with halite and gypsum casts.
Comments: Within the McArthur Group. This name replaces original "Masterton Formation" above a major unconformity within that unit. See also misspelt Masterson Sandstone. maximum depositional age.
